By creating an account or using Centy ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including free and paid subscribers.
Centy is an AI-powered personal budget planning tool that helps users track expenses, manage budgets, and receive spending insights. The Service is provided via web application at centy.cloud.
We offer the following plans:
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
Paid subscriptions are billed through Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the frequency you select (monthly or annual).
The Student plan is available to enrolled students verified through a valid student email address (e.g. .edu, .ac.uk, .edu.sa). We reserve the right to verify eligibility and revoke the student discount if verification fails. Upon loss of student status, your subscription will continue at the standard Pro rate at next renewal.
We may offer a free trial period for paid plans. At the end of the trial, you will be charged the applicable subscription fee unless you cancel before the trial ends. No charge is made during the trial period.

Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
Centy uses AI (powered by Anthropic Claude) to generate spending insights and recommendations. These are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice. Always consult a qualified financial advisor for major financial decisions.
Free plan users may see advertisements served through Google AdSense. Paid subscribers do not see advertisements. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements.
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by Centy and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Centy is not a financial institution and does not provide financial advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Centy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration.
